In Islam, true success is not measured only by worldly achievements, but by how well we fulfill our duties to Allah and serve His creation. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "The believer is not one who eats his fill while his neighbor goes hungry." These duas will help you seek Allah's blessing for success that benefits both your worldly life and the Hereafter.
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the next world, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.
Quran 2:201
رَبِّ اشْرُحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.
Quran 20:25-28
اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي، وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي عِلْمًا يَنْفَعُنِي
O Allah, benefit me by what You have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and grant me knowledge that will benefit me.
Ibn Majah
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي رِزْقِنَا، وَأَحْسِنْ فِي أَعْمَالِنَا، وَأَصْلِحْ لَنَا دِينَنَا الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِنَا
O Allah, bless us in our sustenance, make our deeds righteous, and make our religion right for us which is the safeguard of our affairs.
Ahmad
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
Abu Dawud & Tirmidhi
اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا
O Allah, nothing is easy except what You have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy.
Ibn Hibban
True success comes when we combine our efforts with complete trust in Allah. Work hard, but remember that Allah is the ultimate provider of success.
"And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose." (Quran 65:3)
The Prophet (ﷺ) emphasized the importance of seeking knowledge. Continuous learning and self-improvement are keys to success in both worlds.
"And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge." (Quran 20:114)
Success requires consistent effort and patience. Allah tests us through challenges, and perseverance leads to ultimate success.
"And give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say: Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." (Quran 2:155-156)
While making dua for success, remember that Allah's timing is perfect. Sometimes what seems like a delay or setback is actually Allah's way of preparing you for something better. Trust in His wisdom and continue working with sincerity and dedication. "And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, 'Be,' and it is, His word is the truth." (Quran 6:73)
